About Us
About us

Mary made her first Elf House when she was 10 years old, out of twigs and mosses from the forest behind her Grandfather Mulloy's cottage at Meach Lake, Quebec, Canada. As a difficult child, she was often banished to the woods to contemplate her misdeeds, and her imagination created a world of Elves and Fairy homes that filled both the hours and the need to produce good from bad.

After the recovery from the tornado that hit her studio in April of 1996, Mary began to create the houses again, this time using the imaination and skill of a professional craftsperson. Today she uses many kinds of natural materials to make them including, rocks, tree branches, pebbles, shells, moss, lichen, grasses and miniture flowers.

Her most famous Elf House is the home of 'Bill the Come-back Elf', who resided in the White House, Washington D.C., a gift to President Bill Clinton from his penpal, Megan Johnson.

Comming soon we will have more pictures of Mary's elf houses.
