The Bed and Breakfast is on the second floor, with 19 steps up to reach it, decorated with stencils of Morning Glories.
We welcome visitors from all over the world and all different cultures, and hope you will stop in for a visit, to view our rooms or stay the night (We also promise to respect the privacy of our famous visitors from the news media).
This is a Bed and Breakfast Craftsperson's Home so we ask for no smoking, no heavy perfume and no pets. We have one bathroom that is shared, and an informal continental breakfast of coffee, juice and cereal. All the blankets and coverlets are handwoven by Neil A. Colmer, as well as the curtains, table linens and throw rugs. There are 32 individual craftspeople represented in the furnishings. Mary Colmer has made special plaster stencil work on the ceilings, walls and stairways. There is also a collection of miniture baskets, carvings and wooden spoons in various rooms. Children are welcome and we have a few toys, but we are not child-proof. (People needing a private bath can rent both rooms for the evening for $100.00)
The location is in the Old Town area of Berea, in the heart of the craft shop district. We offer free Basic Cable TV in rooms, Central Air/Gas Heat, Telephone in kitchen area. Hallway parking for bicycles, on street parking for cars and motorcycles. We use a "Best Water" Purifier for drinking water needs.
ROOMS:
- The Maple Room has two Queen sized beds, for $60.00 including all taxes.
